Dr Don Lubach gave a compelling speech in an attempt to rally as many aspiring actors and hidden actors as he could , he did a brilliant job if i say so my self. The first speaker to use no powerpoint aid to draw the attention of the crowd , he seemed to prove his actor qualities by simply being seated alone in the chair. This appeared to me as a great way to promote the qualities that one could pick up as an actor , let alone what he said we could achieve afterwards. He began his speech by talking a little about himself and his background ; intresting facts like New York being his true home and graduating from Princeton drew the crowds attention. I liked the fact that he too is a city man and said that he is very greatful that he lived in the city from his early 20s through to his 30s as I was born in London I couldnt have agreed more. After his background he began to talk about the offers avaliable to aspiring actors such as the BFA and the Theatre classes . The BFA is a three year program where students study and eclectic mix of all sorts of theatre jobs and crafts. We also managed to visit the library services , very early in where we learned how to cite and use the ask a librarian service which i thought was very useful. We also learned that 'The library' consisted of multiple smaller libraries dotted around the building varying from subject to subject. I still know my favourite days at the library are going to be tuesdays for massage reasons.
